My name spelt out on the streets of San Francisco…
Using Google Latitude a team of people ran around San Fran and, via their mobile phones, positioned themselves to spell out my name – viewable on this Google map. Of course that’s not strictly true. Its a ‘viral’ from the chaps at Google to showcase Latitude – real time positioning of friends on a map. [...]
Gameboy Rock: reformat your instrument
BLIP FESTIVAL: REFORMAT THE PLANET trailer from 2 Player Productions on Vimeo. Loving this. Check the kid going off in the opening scenes. Plus, if you like this you’ll probably enjoy my previous post on the iBand. Big respec to Olly C in the UK for the link.

Graphical music tool
Big shout to the Thaddeus for sending the link to this ‘graphical interactive music making tool‘ (gasp). By moving the coloured circles (each pertaining to a sound) within the main circle you can increase the volume and compose your piece. It looks good too.

Goggles – Google Map Flight Sim
This is brilliant. Goggles is flight simulator using Google Maps. Wish we’d thought of this, such a simple and engaging use of maps… the whole studio here in Sydney is likely to not do any work this afternoon. You can fly around most major cities in the world, Mars and the Moon! You can crash [...]
