Download this song (we need 20,000 to make it a record)

The new Kid Confucius single “Darling, I Need Ya” has been iTunes single of the week this week. Friends and fans of the band are all doing their best to hit the 20,000 downloads mark to make it a record here in Australia. And reach a wider audience.

So to help the cause (and the lads) simply download the track from iTunes (its free) and if you love it, go buy the album!

cool mechanism, you must feel better just going for this kind of stuff now without lengthy debates at Advertising Central
  • nah... its just a friend with a song on iTunes. :)

In fact he's one of the designers at Host. Very talented chap. So was keen to help spread the word and get everyone to listen to his music. Plus aim for a record, the average 'song of the week' download is in the region of 12,000 so it'd be good to smash it.

The main work I'm doing right now is installing phone lines and internet - its ironic really. Thanks for the comment though.

got the tune (and an invoice over $ 0).
how is the overall download looking?
  • Apparently iTunes hasn't released numbers yet, but the plays and uptake on MySpace was really encouraging... I'll chase Andrew and see if he knows anymore.
