flickeur screen grabs

Flickeur (pronounced like Voyeur) randomly retrieves images from Flickr.com and creates an infinite film with a style that can vary between stream-of-consciousness, documentary or video clip.

I’m intrigued by this, think about it for a minute, the mashup of creative content is inspired.

Firstly individual photographers take photos and post them to flickr.com, a digital artist (Mario Klingemann aka Quasimondo) then writes an algorithm that interogates flickr’s API - randomly selecting images to create an unknown film.

That as a web browser (not the app, you) when you click this link there will be a different film created every single time.
