Interesting piece on Games becoming Art, or I suppose the merging of the two. Take for example the manipulation of the Quake engine to make a musical instrument… or the Sims acting out a mock commercial.

Its all about playing, and playing gets user and audience attention - which is a perfect platform for art. Both political or otherwise.
